After a lengthy festival run, Adam DeViller’FOAM DRIVE RENEGADES is now available online for your viewing, and (even better) was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick, one of the highest possible honours for a short film that has been placed online for the hungry, hungry masses.

This film was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had making movies, and I couldn’t be happier to finally share it with you:

In other short news, Scott Simpson’s THE TOLL screened at Palms Springs International Film Fest a couple weeks back, and Cory Bowles’ RIGHTEOUS will be screening at LA Shorts Fest this Monday. Good stuff all around!

For the fifth time in seven years, my smug mug will be projected onto the illustrious screens of Montreal’s Fantasia Fest as Adam DeViller‘s FOAM DRIVE RENEGADES has been selected to take part!

FOAM DRIVE RENEGADES tells the story of “A gang of petty criminals who enlist the last-minute help of an irrational acquaintance to help pull off a job“, and features myself, Matt Chisholm (who also co-wrote the film), Gordon White, Rhys Bevan-John and Josh MacDonald. Produced by Melanie Wood and shot by Kevin Fraser.

It’s always been, and remains to be, an incredible honour to be a part of this festival, and I am really hoping to make it back out to Montreal for this year’s fest. The screening dates have yet to be announced, but the fest itself takes place between July 18th and August 6th. Stay tuned to here, @FoamDrive on Twitter, or keep an eye on for dates as they become available.

PS. Edgar Wright‘s THE WORLD’S END is closing this year’s Fantasia Fest. Oh my lord.

Update – July 10th, 2013: The schedule has been released, and FOAM DRIVE RENEGADES will be playing on the closing night of Fantasia Fest on August 7th! More info / tickets:

Yeah, that’s right, I got to make a heist movie with a muppet*.

*No, not an actual “Muppet (TM)”, but still…fdr03

The film is slated for a late Summer / early Fall release, so stay tuned for that, will ya?
